Powerstar Dr. Srinivasan has turned a hot property in Kollywood. After his successful Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiyaa, he is showered with more projects, including Shankar’s I. The recent project the star has bagged is PT Selvakumar’s Onbadhula Guru.
PT Selvakumar said that, impressed with the work of Powerstar in KLTA, he wanted the actor to be a part of his ‘The Hangover’ style Tamil comedy film, Onbadhula Guru. “We have already wrapped up our film. But I wanted Powerstar so much in my film, that I wrote a part for him and stuffed it into it,” said PT Selvakumar.
In response, Powerstar thanked his director and announced that he will not be taking money for this project. “PT Selvakumar has been a PRO for a long time and has now become a director. I wish to honour his feat by not taking any money,” beamed Powerstar.
He also made a special mention of director Shankar and Santhanam in his short speech. To quote him, “Shankar Thambi and Santhanam Thambi are very supportive in all my endeavours.”
Powerstar will be dancing for a song in Onbadhula Guru and supposedly appears in multiple looks.
