Rahman to turn

After entertaining the audience for years with his music, the Mozart of Madras, A.R. Rahman could soon be making the jump to direction. It is being said that Rahman has been long writing a script that he may well make it into a movie. It is believed that Rahman is quite the movie buff and has a good sense of storytelling. Fellow Oscar Winner Resul Pookutty has also shown similar interests as a filmmaker and is supposedly ready with his script which he says will be along the lines of the Amitabh Bachchan starrer ‘Black’.

Resul Pookutty too believes that direction will be the natural progression for Rahman and that both of them have been meeting and discussing over scripts for quite sometime now.
