Powerstar comes

The core team of Summa Nachinu Irukku was assembled at the GRT convention centre to address the media about their upcoming film. The main attendees included director A.Venkatesh, the film’s hero Thaman Kumar, heroine Vibha, cameraman C.J. Rajkumar apart from the two National Award winners Thambi Ramaiah and Appu Kutty. But the gathering was awaiting another key member of the crew, Powerstar Dr. Sreenivasan, who finally turned up in an auto since his car had a flat tire on the way to the venue.

As soon as Powerstar arrived he entertained the audience in his usual style. He greeted the Producers of the film, Esthell Entertainers, as relatives and extended family members. He thanked them for giving him the opportunity to act in this film. He recalled that he received his first paycheck of the year from them, which was offered to him on New Year’s Day. The director has roped in two Russian dancers to shake a leg with Powerstar for a song.

Director A. Venkatesh said that they all had to rush from the shooting spot to the press meet and it was a challenge to coordinate dates of big names like Powerstar, Thambi Ramaiah and Appu Kutty. He had a special word of praise for cameraman C.J. Rajkumar who came recommended by Sneha Britto as she used his services for her debut film Sattam Oru Iruttarai.

The dialogues for the film are by Erode Mahesh but Venkatesh says that he makes certain changes to them before a take, and when they go to Powerstar he changes them altogether and delivers them. The film has music by Achu and the team plans for an audio launch in Malaysia on 9th March.
