No shooting abroad

Popular TV personality Brinda Das has wrapped up the shoot for her directorial debut titled ‘Hi Da’. The film that revolves around a group of youngsters has been shot extensively in Chennai. The film is in its final stages of post-production and is expected to release late in March this year.

The film’s music, by Vishal Chandrashekhar, has received positive feedback and the songs have all been shot in and around Chennai with one song having been shot in Pondy. Since the script doesn’t require any songs or scenes to be shot overseas, the team has not been compelled to do so. The film has a host of newcomers and is produced by Rajesh Kannan under the Fox & Crows Studios banner.
