Kajal Aggarwal was dragged into a
controversy recently over her alleged comments comparing the Tamil and
Telugu film industries. Despite her denials and clarifications, the
controversy just refuses to die down. Her particular statement about the
Tamil industry not respecting its heroines and just worshiping its
heroes has earned her a lot of wrath.
Veteran director Bharathiraja, who casted Kajal in Bommalattam in 2008, when she was just a newcomer, hasn’t taken to her comments well at all. It seems, he has branded the actress as an arrogant one and in fact even stated that he felt ashamed at having worked with Kajal.
When she came to know of this, Kajal immediately tried to contact the director but she couldn’t succeed in doing so. This has left the pretty actress in a distressed mood, we hear.
