K Balachander to R Ashwin

The Big Tamil Entertainer Awards, a concept designed by the Big FM, was given away to many notable entertainers ranging from veteran K Balachander to youngsters like Anirudh, R Ashwin and Hip Hop Thamizha.

K Balachander bagged the Lifetime Achievement of the year, R Ashwin was awarded the Sportsman of the year and Chithra Priya the Sportswoman. Kumki won four awards including the best director, music director, debut actor and supporting actor. The other notable winners were Vijay Sethupathy and Iniya for Pizza and Mouna Guru respectively and Hip Hop Thamizha for the most popular YouTube video.
