Dhanush’s new movie with Sargunam has
been titled as Naiyaandi, as earlier reported. The director has updated
that Dhanush’s character name in this film would be Chinna Vaandu, a
comic one indeed. This movie is a love story between a lamp shop owner
in Kumbakonam and a dentistry student.
Known for quality movies like Kalavani and Vaagai Sooda Vaa, Sargunam would be expected to give a healthy comedy entertainer with Naiyaandi as well. We also hear that Dhanush was mighty impressed with the script and he would be hoping that his shift to comedy, after a slew of serious roles, would pay off handsomely.
