Casting Director

Jayarao has been running an academy called Theatre Lab which has been preparing many talented young actors for challenging roles. The list of clientele includes Srikanth for the film ‘Poo’, Aadhi for ‘Aravaan’, Atharva for ‘Muppozhudum Un Karppanaigal’ and the latest being Prithviraj Das who played the young autistic boy in ‘Haridas’.

Apart from schooling young actors, Jayarao has also extended his services as a competent casting director as in the case of the National Award winning film Kutty by Janaki Vishwanathan. Now Jayarao plans to give filmmaking a shot as he’s set to turn director with a project tiled Sadhal Poi Kadhal, which will feature new faces.

The coming weeks will also see a grand function hosted by the Theatre Lab marking its 8^th year anniversary.
