Dr Kamal Hassan had promised that Vishwaroopam
will certainly please everyone. However Satyavedu Srinivasa, the theatre
on the Andhra border, was in for a shocking surprise. The movie turns
out to have made the maximum profit for the screen.
The theatre authorities claim that the movie has
broken all previous collection records, by netting a total 15-20 L,
which is a huge revenue by any yardstick. When the movie was banned in
Tamil Nadu, it is a well known fact that people crossed the border to
watch the movie in other states, and Satyavedu Srinivasa was one such
hotspot. Well, ban does good too.
